Nobody hurt that I know of. Just a big thunderstorm with microbursts causing very high winds for a few minutes. The news media had it all
screwed up as usual. They reported a building had collasped trapping 70 people with tornadoes. Tornadoes suck things up into a funnel cloud and drop them far away. Here everything just got blown over in high winds. Nothing was more than three hundred feet from where it started. Pretty
wild to watch though.
Our judges trailer was undamaged and it was sitting on concrete blocks without any tiedowns. Usually they tie it down with metal straps with big nails shot into the concrete with a gun. No tiedowns this year.
Friday was business as usual. Thursday night they worked hard to get everything cleaned up and tents repaired. Friday was blue sky. By Saturday you'd never know there had been a problem. Big crowd on Saturday.
